ARCANA is a card game for Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Windows published by Nubico Software Technologies, S.L. This policy explains what the game does with your data, and applies to every version of it: Google Play, App Store and Steam.
The short version: ARCANA collects no data about you. The game does not connect to the internet, has no accounts or sign-up, carries no advertising, no analytics and no third-party kits, and declares not a single system permission. Nothing you do in the game leaves your device.

2. Data we collect
None. We do not collect, store, process, sell or share any personal data or any identifier. We do not know who you are, how many runs you play or where you play from. There is no server of ours that ARCANA could send anything to, because the game contains no networking code.
We also process no special categories of data, we build no profiles and we make no automated decisions about you.
3. What is stored on your device
So that you can continue a run and keep your progress, ARCANA writes a save file to the private folder the operating system reserves for the app. That file contains only:
- your run in progress and your play statistics,
- the achievements you have earned and the scenarios and difficulties you have unlocked,
- your settings: language, volume and accessibility options.
It contains no personal data, it stays on your device and nobody else reads it. It is not processing of personal data on our part: we have no access to that file at any point.
4. System backups
Android and iOS may include that save file in the automatic backups the operating system makes of your device — Google One Backup on Android, iCloud or iTunes on iOS — so that your progress travels with you when you change phones.
That backup is handled by the operating system inside your own account: we do not request it, we have no access to it and we receive no information from it. It is governed by Google's or Apple's privacy policy, depending on the device, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone's backup settings.
5. Store links
ARCANA includes a button to rate the game. If you tap it, the game asks the system to open the ARCANA listing in the relevant store (Google Play or the App Store). From that point on, that store's privacy policy applies, not ours. We send no data when that link opens, and we do not know whether you tapped it.
6. The Steam version
The version of ARCANA distributed on Steam uses Steam achievements. When you earn an achievement, the game reports it to Steam through the client you already have installed, so that it shows up on your profile. That exchange happens between your computer and Valve; we neither receive nor store anything. It is governed by Valve's privacy policy.
The Google Play, App Store and Mac App Store versions do not include this integration: in those there is no exchange with anyone.
7. Permissions
ARCANA declares and requests no system permissions: no camera, no microphone, no location, no contacts, no external storage, no vibration, no network access. If your device ever asks you for a permission on ARCANA's behalf, it is not our app.
8. Children
ARCANA is suitable for all audiences and is not specifically directed at children under thirteen. Since we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children either, and there is nothing for a parent or guardian to request, review or delete.
9. How to delete your data
By uninstalling the game. The save file lives in the app's private folder, so it disappears completely when you uninstall it. If you also want to remove any copy held in your Google or Apple account, do it from your own device's backup settings: we cannot access it.
10. Your rights
The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) grant you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data. In ARCANA's case there is nothing to exercise, because we process none of your personal data. If you would like to ask us anything anyway, write to soporte@nubico.tech and we will reply.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with the regulation.
11. Changes to this policy
If ARCANA ever began collecting any data, we would update this page before releasing that version and change the date above. Versions you already have installed will keep behaving as described by the policy in force when you downloaded them.
12. Contact
